Muitos praticantes do Texas Hold’em (consenso da maioria) tem desconfiado que os jogos no poker online, como no Poker Stars, Full Tilt, Best Poker e outros, evidenciam uma distribuição viciada do maço, não sendo aleatória.
A insatisfação tem se mostrado presente nas comunidades de poker aqui no Brasil, e acredito que seja um fenômeno mundial. Para muitos, as chamadas “bad beats”, estariam sobrepondo as estatísticas aceitáveis.
É sabido que o número de mãos jogadas na internet é muito superior e que os jogadores jogam de forma mais “loose”, mas isto não explicaria o que de fato estaria ocorrendo nas mesas. A indagação seria quanto ao fato de haver favorecimento a jogadores. Restaria apurar se os sites favorecem jogadores para que não deixem de jogar, se existem jogadores em nome do site, se há pessoas que possuem conhecimentos aprofundados em computação, capazes de manipular de alguma forma o jogo, ou se todas, em percentagens diferentes, concorreriam simultaneamente.
Dentre estas indagações, há também a que mais se faz presente, o fato de que os short stakes são eliminados quando confrontados por stakes maiores. Para alguns, seria este um artifício dos sites para que um torneio encerrasse mais rápido, possibilitando novas arrecadações em torneios futuros.
O fato, notório, é que há um sentimento geral de que algo está errado. Aos poucos as pessoas estão ficando cada vez mais descrentes no poker online e uma vez que este sentimento esteja definitivamente enraizado nos praticantes do jogo, os sites terão grande dificuldade em passar uma imagem idônea novamente.
Há quem defenda a bandeira de que eles, os sites, jamais fraudariam por não quererem arriscar um negócio tão lucrativo, mas para outros a matemática a ser considerada seria a seguinte: Só com o rake, eles ganhariam rios de dinheiro, porém, fraudando, eles ganham um oceano de dinheiro!
Há também quem diga que profissionais e alguns jogadores faturam alto jogando o poker na internet. Não seria este o marketing perfeito? Como se dissessem: “É possível, basta ser bom, estudar o jogo!”. E os jogadores, diante dessa “REALIDADE”, prosseguiriam jogando, almejando o tão sonhado status de vencedor.
Lembro que todos os pontos aqui relatados são suposições, que embora sejam evidentes, carecem de provas. O único indício é que há uma insatisfação geral.
Espero que um dia possamos jogar em um site onde não tenhamos vontade de largar AA preflop!
